Pilot tables wanted
Taleward runs at our club. Now we want to know whether it holds up at other tables as well. So we are looking for game masters with a running campaign who try it for a few evenings and tell us honestly what gets in the way.
What you get
- An account on our server. You need no server of your own and no technical skills.
- We take care of processing your sessions. It costs you nothing.
- A contact person on Discord who answers within a day.
What we ask of you
- At least three sessions in about three months, so roughly one a month.
- Everyone at the table agrees to the recording themselves. That is how Taleward works anyway.
- Five short questions after each session, a conversation at the end.
What we say honestly
No chapter is flawless. Expect up to three spots per chapter that you put right with a note. Those are exactly the spots we want to hear about. How we measure
Your data
Your sessions belong to you. They are stored on our server, and in the app only you and your group can see them. As the operator we could technically see the data. We only look if you ask us to because something went wrong. Whatever we learn from your feedback and might publish appears without names. We pass nothing on and sell nothing.
You decide where your sessions are processed. On our own worker we process your sessions ourselves, without outside providers. Through the cloud, with Mistral in the EU, the chapters are more accurate and you have less to correct. Both read well. The cloud stays off until you switch it on for your campaign, and everyone at the table can see that it is on.
And afterwards
Your chronicle belongs to you. After the pilot you have three options. You take the campaign to your Windows PC, to a Raspberry Pi at home or to a server of your own. Then you only pay for what you run yourself. Or you stay with us. For that, a small fee for processing will probably be due later. We will tell you in good time before anything changes, and you can take your campaign with you at any time. Nobody loses their chronicle.
Take part
Tell us which system you play, how often you meet and whether you play at the table or online. Online works too: record the session in Discord, as a whole or one track per voice, and add the recording afterwards.
